Weather
By the early twentieth century, the town of Oracle had acquired a reputation as a place to escape the grueling summers of Tucson. The summer months average highs in the upper nineties and lows in the mid to high sixties and the monsoon average for rainfall is six to eight inches (mid July through September).
By September, our highs are in the mid eighties and becoming very enjoyable. September, October and November are a few of the nicest months in Oracle, as well as March, April and May, although be forewarned: wind gusts in the spring and fall can hit up to 50 miles per hour!
Winters can be quite chilly in Oracle, with a fifty year average of snowfall being 10.9”, however this is not the norm. Winter is also our rainiest season, usually providing more precipitation than the summer monsoons. Average winter high temperatures are in the low sixties with lows in the mid thirties.
